Two college freshman with a history are unknowing partners in writing — and rewriting — a play together. As they use the characters in the play-within-the-play to relive their own story, the actors portraying the characters take matters into their own hands. As the three levels of this play intersect and overlap, you'll find anything can happen in Word War.
Linda Escalera Baggs of Richmond, VA recently made her New York City debut with an off-off Broadway production of her highly-acclaimed drama Silent Heroes. Her award-winning plays have also been performed in Los Angeles (BackStage West Critic's Pick/ LA Times recommended), Pittsburgh, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale and Washington, DC. She is a member of The Lab at Burning Coal Theatre and The Dramatist Guild of America, Inc.
